Prep Day with the Team

Hello, my dear Hivers!

This is the continuation of my previous blog, and today I’ll be sharing with you the time when we decided to gather at my classmate’s house. The reason? because tomorrow this day, we were scheduled to lead the monthly program, and our group was assigned to lead the Zumba session, which would serve as the warm-up activity. By the way, the program was a tree planting activity together with individuals under probation.

We all went together on a three-wheeler in our classmate's house and the first thing who welcomed us when we arrived was my friends lovely cats! The first cat that we saw was a beautiful fur color, and a minute later, a kitten went to it. When I realized that the mixed colored cat (black and yellow) was actually the mother of the kitten. They looked very attractive together.

As I got closer to cats, I saw another cat with black and white fur. But unlike others, it does not seem very comfortable with the people who come very close, so I ensured to maintain my distance and respect its place.

After a while, I went to the second floor, and see a lot of shoes were scattered all around. It really shows how full the house was.

Everyone started seeking out a comfy spot to take a seat. Thus, while the others were relaxing, I took the chance to capture at the mirrored window.

A little later, some noise stuck my interest coming from my friends room. I felt that they were also taking selfies or doing something fun, so I went to check then knocked the door gently even if it was open and yes, they were also doing a mirror photo session!

As soon as I entered, they asked me to go down to get my phone so that we could take a proper group photo. And here is this! Honestly, the guys would probably be surprised to see us so calm and centered, because such moments, where we are all calm and still, only occur when we are taking photos together.

After our mini photo shoot, we stepped outside and I told my friend, “Let’s sing videoke!” And to my surprise, they actually had a Bluetooth speaker and a microphone! I didn’t even know they had those, I just took a chance and asked! A few minutes later, we were already singing our hearts out.

Then I suggested to Keziah that we start preparing our name tags with yarn, since we’d be wearing them for the program. Luckily, my yarn-tying skills came in handy this time! Here are some pictures of our prepared work, I am quite proud of it!

After creating the name tag, we practiced our Zumba, and after about an hour, we decided to go home.
