Running Seok | digital art [ESP/ENG]

¡Hola amigos de HIVE! Este es mi primer post del año y mi primera ilustración también. Quise empezar el año haciendo esta pieza tomando como inspiración a un atleta coreano, Hong Beomseok, dando una corrida en un ambiente agradable. Me gustaron los colores de la referencia, así que me inspiré para dibujar.

Aunque durante el proceso pasaron cosas, siento que logré un buen resultado, después de rendirme con los árboles que no me terminaban de convencer jaja. También intenté un estilo más simplificado y añadí textura con trazos estratégicos con el pincel, además, de añadir la textura de papel para darle más dinamismo a la ilustración. Sin más que agregar, espero que les guste y acá les dejo el proceso.

Hi HIVE friends! This is my first post of the year and also my first illustration. I wanted to start the year making this piece taking this korean athlete, Hong Beomseok, having a run in a nice environment. I liked the colors of the reference, so I was inspired to draw.

Although things happened during the process, I feel I achieved a good result - even after giving up with the trees that just weren't convincing me, haha. Also, I tried a more simplified style and added texture with strategic strokes with the brush, as well as a paper texture to give the illustration more dynamism. Without anything else to add, hope you like it and here's the process.
