When Your Children (Under 6) Make Breakfast
We wake up to the sounds of little children...
We hear them conspiring to make eggs and toast for breakfast. What could possibly go wrong?
Crack the eggs into a bowl and mix them up. Only a few egg shells made it in, but mostly fine.
They needed some help plugging in the toaster and getting the bread in, but my oldest managed just fine.
She was very careful not to burn herself on the toaster! Meanwhile they put butter in the pan and got it hot.

How did it turn out?
We were so busy enjoying our breakfast, we didn't get any photos of the final product!
The eggs were a little over-done and had a few shells in it. The first batch of toast was perfect, but the second batch burned a bit. Other than a few small issues, considering this breakfast was made almost entirely by my little ones, it turned out pretty well! This was their first time taking the initiative to make breakfast and it was an ambitious endeavor.
It's amazing seeing these little ones becoming so capable. Overall, I'd say it went great!
