Playing out the scenario in my mind, if the people boo'd DJT at CPAC (like they should have) that's all the media would play over and over again. "Trump Boo'd at CPAC". Giving the leftest all the ammo they need to say "see, even CPAC is turning on him".
I wish the silence would have been noticed.
If they had boo'd, even allegedly "conservative" media would say something like "Fringe Anti-Vaxxers Boo the Former President". Even they would probably neglect to report that it would have been (at least in my imagination) the vast majority of the audience.
