Exploring Abu Dhabi (Part 24)

For years, we have been spending New Year's holidays with our family in France. For once, my wife and I decided to break the family routine and experience the joy of ringing in the new year in the sunshine.

It was a successful experience, especially since the hotel went all out with an outdoor meal by the pool and various entertainments. We were able to have a dreamy New Year's Eve, which encourages us to do it again.

Depuis des années nous passons les fêtes du jour de l'an en famille et en France. Pour une fois, avec mon épouse, nous avons décidé de casser la routine familiale et de goûter à la joie de changer d'année en étant au soleil.

Expérience réussie, d'autant que l'hôtel avait mis les petits plats dans les grands avec repas en extérieur, près de la piscine et animations diverses.
Nous avons ainsi, pu passer un réveillon de rêve qui nous incite à recommencer.

While waiting to party, we went for a drink at one of the bars at the Al Raha Beach hotel.
En attendant de faire la fête nous avons été prendre un pot à l’un des bars de l’hôtel Al Raha Beach.

The luminous cape. A kind of whirling dervish with a cape that lit up at the artist's discretion. A very visual act.

La cape lumineuse. Une sorte de derviche tourneur avec une cape qui s’éclairait selon le bon vouloir de l’artiste. Numéro très visuel.
