I am going to be honest about this. I was kinda looking forward to Boruto, but after watching the first few episodes

SPOILER ALERT: I haven't seen the entire series yet, and most likely am not going to finish it. But I am going to be brutally honest with this review. So yes.!! You've been warned.

I hate it, bro. I am not sure if it's the animation quality or whatever, but I can't stand the series. I watched the entirety of Naruto; the ending was not that great, it was kinda letdown. And I read the manga hoping that it made the ending better. Nope, still that dumb alien nonsense and reincarnation stuff, but still, I was nostalgic.

When Boruto was released, I wasn't excited, but there was a part of me that wanted to see what more could be done with the series. I mean, the original ended on a happy note, and what kind of trouble can this next gen be facing? But it feels like the series is out there just to disrespect the memories of Naruto and to milk some more money. It felt cheap. I know that the offspring look like their parents (Duh!!! genetics), but in the case of Boruto, they felt more like a copy-paste job. Dont get me started on the character design of Naruto and Sasuke, they are like Naruto and Sasuke from Meesho or Temu.

Now on to the storyline. I was looking forward to the dynamics of Naruto and his son, their interactions, and differences. But nope, they made Naruto a badass Ninja workaholic, I mean, I wouldn't mind him working on a mission, but dudes always sitting in the Office or at Home talking about work. At least Sasuke was doing off-screen missions. And made Boruto a whiny attention-seeking brat, and not a normal level of whining, but of Ranbir Kapoor's level of whining from the Animal movie.

Ah!! Talking about this nonsense is making me angry. I am done with the series. I am going to go and watch Hunter X Hunter one more time.
