Washing hands is very important as you stay home to keep yourself away from the Corona virus. I was making my own hand wash due to its shortage in the market and just wanted to share it with you. Hope you find my post helpful. Making a hand wash at home is quite simple. You need the following ingredients which can be purchased easily from Amazon and can be cheaper than purchasing a hand wash from a shop - if only you can find one.

1. Liquid Castite Soap

Castile soap is basically concentrated liquid soap. Although it is available in solid form as well. I used the liquid form.

2. Essential Oil

Essential oil gives fragrance to your hand wash and it is also antiseptic. You can purchase it from Amazon as well. Only a few drops are needed.

3. Boiled or Distilled Water

Method:

Add 1/4th by volume of liquid castile soap in a container or your hand wash bottle. Add 3/4 of water and 10-20 drops of essential oil. And that is it. Please try it and let me know how it works out for you.

Optional

You can also add food grade oil (almond, jasmine, coconut etc.) to add moisturising effect to your skin. You will also need to add a few drops of food grade glycerine to make it blend with your handwash.
