Food for thought. {Appreciation}

A photo I took a couple years back; a leaf that resembles a feather.

I'm so glad that I am a human that has experienced sadness and traumas, so I have the special ability to appreciate things when they are good. The perspective I'm feeling is, in my opinion, a hard one to reach. For a human to experience some form of joy, out of the darkness they have went up against is a delicacy tasted only by the wise and weathered among us, and never tasted by youth or inexperience.

You can't begin to appreciate the good, if the bad is a foreign concept. Duality is key.
