Karate Legends - Fighting Game By GAMEXIS

so i tried this Karate Legend game yesterday… or maybe day before, not even sure now

i was just lying on my bed, phone plugged in with that annoying loose charger thing (you know when it only works at a weird angle), and i opened it randomly. didn’t even plan to play seriously, just bored

first impression was like… okay this is kinda simple but also a bit fun in a dumb way. punches and kicks don’t feel real but there’s something satisfying about just tapping and seeing stuff happen. not sure why my brain likes that

my little cousin was sitting there eating chips and he kept saying “do that kick again” every time I did some move. i was mostly losing at first anyway, just trying to figure out controls without reading anything. i always do that, no idea why

it feels like those old arcade fighting games. you just fight, get coins, upgrade a bit, fight again. nothing deep. after a while i noticed i wasn’t even thinking much, just tapping and watching the screen

there’s this one thing though… when you land a clean hit and the enemy flies back a bit too dramatically, it’s kinda funny and satisfying at the same time. not realistic at all but it works

i got stuck on one level for way longer than i should admit. like i literally stopped, went to kitchen, drank water, came back like “okay now i’ll win for sure” and still lost again lol

my mom passed by and said something like “you always play these fighting games, waste of time” and i just nodded while still playing. didn’t even pause properly, just kept losing mid-conversation

there’s barely any story i think… or maybe i just ignored it completely. honestly didn’t care much. it’s just one of those time pass games when you don’t want to think

graphics are okay, nothing special. after a few minutes you stop noticing anyway. sound effects are kinda loud though, like every punch feels exaggerated

the loop is probably the main thing keeping it alive… fight, upgrade, repeat… and that stupid feeling like “okay next match i’ll win easy” even though you already know it won’t change much

i even deleted it once because I got annoyed, then installed it again later that same day… which is kinda funny when i think about it now
