Cocaine seized at Blue Water Bridge
Border guards seized more than 58 kilograms of what they believe is cocaine 10 days ago at the Blue Water Bridge near Sarnia in southwestern Ontario.
Analyzes will confirm that this is indeed this drug.
The 48 bricks were concealed in a compartment inside the vehicle. Detector dogs and X-ray equipment helped border services officers and police find cocaine.
The driver, Olanrewaju Michael Ojelade, 29, of Brantford, is charged with possession, importation and drug trafficking.
The accused will appear in court again on June 13.
