It is hard to imagine our life without scientific achievements. We fly on airplanes, use the Internet, take modern medicines. Science is incredibly productive, but what is the secret of its success? Why don't we see similar progress where science is neglected? Why aren't magic-powered rockets being sent into space, psychics aren't intercepting Wi-Fi signals, and quick-read prayers aren't the gold standard for emergency care?

In this new video, I'll talk about the most fundamental basics of the scientific method. Basics that should be taught in school, but usually aren't. What is the scientific method? How to use it? Is the scientific method itself subject to critical analysis and revision?

I believe that this is one of the most important topics, because absolutely everyone will need to know how scientific knowledge is obtained.
