Zouk Dance Cover by Teachers Jem & Mich at Boracay Island
Just adding in another video to my collection of Afro Latin Dance Madness! This is a dance cover to the song of For Gerard by Naïka. An impromptu Zouk choreography by two awesome dance teachers - Jem (Zouk) and Mich (Bachata & Kizomba) during our trip to the beautiful island of Boracay some months ago. Video taken and edited by yours truly.
To be honest, I'm really not sure what made me want to take these videos but I know I love the creativity and flow done during the creation of the dance and the editing I do afterwards. Most of the time, I like staying behind the scenes even back when I was in the drama club and now I'm bringing my own take, direction, and creativity throughout the whole process of making a dance video. I'm not a professional you guys but I would want to bring the Afro-latin dancing here on Hive and that's why I will continue to make dance videos when I can.
During the intro, Mich is joined by another Zouk teacher - Ianne. After that, it transitions with Jem (the lead) coming in and translates the cheerful, romantic song/music to dance steps by leading Mich (the follower) with his moves. Overall, when I watch this dance video, I find myself smiling and also getting that romantic vibes through their dance. And the beach setting in Boracay Island makes it even more dreamy.
Anyways, enjoy the video as I did!
I do not own the rights to this music/song. This video is meant for entertainment purposes only.
