Dancing Sensual Bachata at Boracay Island
By next month, I'm heading back to Boracay to attend an Afro-Latin Festival (still unsure though if I'll push through), and this time artists and dancers from other countries (but a lot of handsome male lead dancers will be there 😭) are coming so I better hurry up and finished uploading my dance videos here on Hive.
So here I am sharing a dance video with Teacher Ronil. We dance Bachata to the song X Amada which is very long! I think the music is about 6 minutes so I cut the first part of this video.
Anyone who dances with Teacher Ronil should be very quick on her feet as he is very.... Uhmmm... does a lot of big moves of which I came unprepared! Sometimes it would be hard for me to catch myself after a turn so I was laughing a lot. 😅 Another struggle was dancing in the sand which slows you down. However, our dance was just for fun... again, I'm not a professional. Just dancing for the love of it.
Real Talk: An old friend who doesn't dance asked me if we don't get aroused with these sensual dances that we do. And my answer is simply NO. Well, we may look all too cozy and very intimate when you look at it but there is more to it especially when you learn the dance - Respect between the lead and the follower, creativity, art, musicality, and energy flow. P.S. I got small boobs so when dancing chest to chest with male leads, I don't get bothered. 😉
Alright, that's all for this. Stay tuned for more dance videos.
