Freedive Moalboal | Sea snakes and Turtles

Hey, it's me again, your favorite Hive mermaid in town! The first time I and @ybanezkim26 had a close encounter with a sea snake was memorable. Kim was swimming towards the deeper waters oblivious that he was on the sea snake's way. Just when I saw this, I immediately grabbed Kim's shirt or arm to stop him. The sea snake passed us by peacefully. I'm not very familiar with sea snakes although many say they are venomous so it's best to steer away from them.

But regardless, I think they are beautiful creatures. They say they don't bite as long as they are not provoked. While we were freediving near the Talisay reef we saw 2 sea snakes swimming freely and I can't help myself but swim close to them. This is not encouraged though! However, these snakes gracefully gliding underwater were just amazing. Besides the sea snakes, a lot of turtles came out and swam that day. It was also fun swimming alongside them.
