Freedive San Remegio | Exploring Biasong Marine Sanctuary with Kim.

It's been a while since I've shared a freediving video. I've been busy with my other hobby - dancing! However, last July 2022, I was able to dive again! and thanks to @ybanezkim26 for visiting me here at my hometown here in San Remigio, Cebu.

I brought Kim to this beautiful marine sanctuary in Biasong, Maño! I've been here twice in the past so I was excited to show him the underwater paradise here. I think the corals were healthy and vibrant. The fishes were plentiful and colorful. There were a lot of marine life to see.

This time around I was more focused with taking underwater photos and that's the reason why in the video you will see me holding my go pro and filming close to corals and fishes. And I really enjoyed it a lot but I have a lot to improve with taking UW photos. I had to wear 1kg of weight so I would sink and be able to stay still underwater. Going to 10m deep was not an easy feat but I just had to do it! Equalizing was a bit hard now that I haven't done this for some time. My head felt was about to pop but no worries, I always know my limit and don't force things when I know I can't.

However, It's really different when you are able to have a closer view of the marine life compared just seeing them from above while snorkeling. One is able to appreciate the diversity and beauty of them. Every time I go underwater, everything else fades. I get to be present and just be. The underwater paradise never fails to amaze me. Hoping to travel and freedive more in the future but for now, it's not yet a priority. For now, enjoy this video I prepared for you.
