How's The Decorating? Are You Ready For Haloweeeeeeeen?

We had a visit from the in-laws last evening. Grandma & Grandpa for the kids. Grandpa stopped by in his work van for all of 15 minutes. He fixed a wood piece that supports the workings of the grandfather clock we recently received. A hand-me-down from my wife's grandparents.

That's alot of grandparents. And grandpa came to fix our grandfather clock? There has to be some sort of literary term for that! Logility? Never heard of it, but spell check didn't correct it. Must mean something!

We Know What Halloween Means

Though trick-or-treating may be off the table for the kids this year, that ain't gonna stop us from enjoying Halloween. We have decorations and we can buy our own candy. Chocolates especially! Mmmmmm.

We need some lights to illuminate the spiders on the balcony railing at nighttime. Our new blow-up ghost comes with its own illuminescence so as not to be missed by passers-by.

Getting Into Decorating

Our front windows are now adorned with skeletons, ghouls, and a pumpkin on the ledge. Here below is a closer look at the balcony railing.

Hanging the spiders was a cinch (pun intended). I just used some old fishing line and trusty knots. There were already hooks set into the wood from the previous occupants.

No Reason Not To Dress Up In Costume

Our oldest son Devin decided to jump right into the costumes that were packed away with our Halloween Decor. First he was a knight with a cow's head (not shown). Then he found this red devil's suit to wear.

Our newest decorations (brought over by the in-laws) are the huge electric blow-up ghost and Mr. Blue Eyed Skeletor stuck in the ground.

He has an evil grin, that ghost, and hopefully it scares away any other unwanted spirits. We seem to have enough hanging around already!

Mr. Boney Blue Eyes is going to get you if you come any closer.

WHOAHHHH!!! Barely got out of the way in time. That skinny arm comes down fast on the unsuspecting flesh walkers.
