Happy Mother's Day To All!

Out of love, from her body, through intense pain, joy, fear, and all her hope she brings forth life.

It doesn't stop there. The roller coaster of love, with all the emotions it brings, lasts a lifetime. A mother never stops being a mother.

I've seen in my own family 2 accounts to confirm that not even death stops a mother from her love of a child.

The perspective of Mother's Day applies to us all. No matter if you were an orphan who never knew your biological mother.

If you grew up healthy and strong, it was no doubt because a woman took you under her wings as a mother would.

Times are tough right now and it pains me to think of so many families that won't get to see their moms on Mother's Day.

I myself, don't get to see my mom today either, but not because of any restrictions on visitation. My mom lives up in Oregon and us in California. I suppose a visit could have been in order, so the quarantine at least helped prevent the possibility.

Thank goodness for all the different forms of communication available to allow us to reach out in spite of the lack of face to face. Real human connection is always better but today is about thankfulness. I'll take what I can get and give her all my love through digital communique.

Two sisters of mine are out there and have families of their own, one in Oregon and another in Texas. My love has already gone out to both who are incredible moms!

To all you who might read this and are moms, Happy Mother's day as well. If you are missing your mom today, here's to all the moms who are no longer with us and made our lives a reality.

I'll part with a song by a little girl who never knew her mom. She grew up in a tough world but let her love shine through. It was that light that led good loving people into her life.
