HAT Sidechain: Ideas for token types??

We have a chance to be quite creative with token types on the HAT sidechain and I'd like to hear some ideas from you all.

What kind of tokenomics would you like to see for tokens you can create on HAT?

Or, phrased differently, if you could start from scratch and change the token reward mechanism on Hive right now from HIVE + HBD stake-weighted voting, to something else, what would it be?

Reward pool or no reward pool?
Stake-weight voting or something else?
Customized inflation or no inflation?
Some kind of activity-based reward mechanism?

I would like to support a wide range of use-cases so it's not about getting one to win, but hearing all ideas and creating the features in the protocol for people who want to create those types of tokens and use them as they see fit. For entire websites or just a community or channel.
