Perfect Nanny -5minutefreewrite

He was the perfect nanny. Well, Manny. Well no. He was a nanny. Just because he was male didn't change the job. People did love saying that to him, though. And there was some justification for it. After all, a Nanny Goat was literally a female goat, so... but come on, was he a goat?

So, he was perfect at it. He never let his brain get distracted by, oh, what was going on in Yemen or how much would milk cost at costco and was the savings worth going there instead of the corner market if he didn't have anything else to buy at costco? He also wasn't feeling his eyes pulled to the newspaper. Occasionally he indulged in watching the pattern of the leaves as they blew behind the swing set, but only so he could have an answer to the child's "what chu looking at?" that would inspire the kid to admire the world herself.

He also struck the perfect balance between establishing boundaries and letting the kid figure it out on her own. He even was intentionally imperfect around the parents so that they wouldn't feel shamed by his perfection. There was no dial that he didn't know how to turn. But he didn't use his powers for anything but the healthy, happy upbringing of the future.

Then, one day, he had a stroke.

Oh god, I can't leave it there, but the timer rang. Somebody please pick it up from there and tell the rest of the story!
