The poppa flea, the momma flea, and all several thousand baby fleas wanted to get different things at the flea market, but grandma flea put her foot down. "Only necessary items- Sarah Flea, you put that jar of teeth back this instant!"

So Poppa Flea and Momma Flea and all the baby fleas agreed that what they needed most of all was a carpet. They could hide in the carpet, and when an unsuspecting animal walked on it, they could infest it.

Back at home, the carpet was a sad affair. It had stains and didn't match their decor. Not only that, there seemed to be too much of it.

"How didn't we notice this, Momma Flea?" Asked Poppa Flea

Grandpa Flea chimed in, "WE noticed it. This is a good carpet for us. Instead of being snatched up by some suburban folks who spend more time vacuuming than watching their kids, this one will linger in an alleyway, getting nastier and nastier, and we'll be able to grab ahold of rats and homeless folks and dull cats who haven't any sense nor any flea treatments."
