Decisive -5minutefreewrite

When Joanie decided to do something, not even a second passed before it was already begun. And that's how she found herself falling from a very great height.
That impulse... that "what-if" that pops up unbidden in everyone when they look down from a great height had somehow resolved itself into a decision. Even a moment of reflection would have given Joanie enough pause to decide NOT to leap, but she didn't pause for moments of reflection.
And so she found herself deciding to survive the fall.

Too bad she didn't think to decide to survive the landing.

No, that's too dark. She survived. And thrived. Her personal life was a roaring success and everybody loved her.

She had a cast, but she decided to get better quickly, and so she did. It began to be true that she had magical manifestation powers. It didn't start that way, but it began to start that way after beginning to end and then stopping ending and beginning again.

Smooth.
