My Second Tattoo Design
This design took me about a year to come up with. I wanted something to commemorate a milestone in my life, a rebirth of sorts. I had the rough idea of something to do with an Aztec Sun God, but I also knew I wanted to design it myself. After hours of searching through google images, I captured elements from a variety of sources and blended them with my own into a piece I truly love.
The sun flames represent new life, the captured skulls represent putting the fear of failure behind me, and the central clown king's expression is both serious and smiling, representing my intent to live a happy life no matter what I've had or will have to overcome.
As you may know, tattoos can be addictive, and I'm starting to think about designs for my next one. I'm always on the lookout for interesting ideas and am open to any comments you have on this one.
Best,
Bob
