WINTER ACCESSORIES // BUCKET HAT & NECKBAND

Winter has come for good here in Greece and I decided to make a gift for myself to keep me warm in those days. I had a super fluffy and warm zebra print fabric that I was keeping for some time now and I wanted to make good use of it. I managed to sew two basic accessories for winter a bucket hat and a neckband.

I started with the neckband which was super easy to make. Measured my head and then cut two fat rectangles.

I sewed them together and turn the neckband inside out. Done it at three steps.

Continued with the second accessorie, the bucket hat. I found a free pattern on the internet and use it for my project. I cut one piece of top, two pieces of crown and four pieces of brim.

I started by sewing the two pieces of crown together.

After that I sewed the prieces of brim together.

Next step was to sew the top piece with the crown together.

I continued by sewing the two brim pieces together. After that the last step was to sew the crown with the brim and turn it inside out. Pretty easy and quick with just a few steps.

Both accessories were easy and fun to make. Both look cosy and feel so warm. Both are basic and
necessary accessories for winter days.
