It is already know that after the Hardfork the witness scheduler is behaving weirdly for backup witnesses, some are not getting blocks and some are getting bombarded by dozens, or hundreds, of blocks in a row.

It is being fixed, which is needed, because I assume not all backup witnesses have a node powerful enough to keep up with such a heavy and sudden demand, some witnesses do miss quite a few blocks when they get bombarded with them.

Unexpectedly I was "chosen" and started receiving block after block almost every minute. My biggest worry was if my node would keep up with the demand, and it did. I didn't miss a single block.

I don't think this scenario will repeat, but now that my node was "stress tested" I know that I can grow as a witness and I will be able to handle it well. I used to get 3 blocks a day, got none for a few days, and got around a hundred blocks at once, missed zero.

It means that if I go up on the witness rank my node will keep performing well. It is a relief to know that.
