Death is inevitable ๐ฃ
Yoruba people will say "Gbogbo wa ni a dagbada iku". Which simply translates to the fact that Death is inevitable for everyone.
My maternal grandmother died yesterday afternoon after spending 104years on earth. She lived a good and long life.
She died just 11 days after one of her granddaughter (my sister) got married.
I guess mama (yeye jaiye or yeye omolayo baby mixture, as she was fondly called) held on, to witness the wedding first, although she wasn't physically present.
Yeye Jaiye is survived by children, grandchildren an greatgrandchildren.
In the end, let's all be careful and watchful about how we live our lives because one day, judgment day will come. And the moment one dies, his/her judgment day is come.
Don't take life too seriously like one that won't die.(ma wa aye moya, bi eni ti ko ni ku mo).
Life is too short to not be lived to the fullest. ๐๐
