DIY! Toad and Toadette Mushroom Brothers made with Foam Clay (Tutorial). [ENG] [ESP]

Hello!! Good evening, Hive account@diyhub family and all you craft and handmade lovers! Today I'm going to show you how to make the mushroom siblings Toad and Toadette from the Mario Kart franchise using foam clay (foami moldeable). I hope you all enjoy the creation – the whole community, I mean – and I'm super excited to share my experience working with this flexible material. Come along with me!

Buenas Noches familia DiyHub, amantes de los trabajos manuales y artesanías, el día de hoy les enseñaré a realizar con foami moldeable (foam clay) a los personajes hermanos champiñones Toad y Toadette de la franquicia de Mario Kart. Espero les guste la creación, a toda la comunidad en general y yo súper contento en presentarles mi experiencia con este material flexible. ¡Acompáñame!

I'll tell you a little about who these characters from the Mario Bros franchise are. They're Princess Peach's most loyal attendants. Toadette is a pink Toad, cheerful and full of energy. She first appeared in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, as Toad's racing partner — they're siblings.

I really like this animation, and it's been very well received in the kart games and the movie. I recommend it 100%. Here, I'm sharing some designs I made out of foam clay for the community. I know it's not much, but it's my way of expressing myself through art.

Hablado un poco de quiénes son estos personajes de la franquicia de MarioBros, son los asistentes más fieles de la Princesa Peach. Toadette es una Toad de color rosa, alegre y muy energética. Hizo su primera aparición en Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, siendo la compañera de carreras de Toad como hermanos.

Esta animación me gusta mucho y a sido muy aceptable en el juego kart o película, la recomiendo al 100%. Aquí les dejo unos diseños que hice en foami clay para la comunidad. Sé que no es mucho, pero es mi manera de expresarme mediante el arte. Link externo

In the following I will show you step by step the realization of my work. To begin with, I will mention all the materials used:

A continuación les mostraré paso a paso la realización de mi trabajo. Para empezar, mencionaré todos los materiales utilizados:

In the initial phase, I start by taking a portion of white and pink clay to create the body of the animated figures. Then, I shape it into a ball with my hands, giving it a curious finish.

En la fase inicial, comienzo tomando una porción de arcilla en color blanco y rosado para realizar el cuerpo de los animados. Luego, con las manos moldeó en forma de bola, dándoles una terminación curiosa.

Next, I'll work on the body pieces for Toad and Toadette – their mushroom-shaped heads, their jackets, their underpants, brown shoes, and arms – always giving it my very best.

Seguidamente, desarrollo las piezas del cuerpo en los champiñones Toad y Toadette, sus cabezas en forma de hongos, sus chaquetas, sus calzoncillos, zapatos café y los brazos, siempre dando lo mejor de mi.

Lastly, we make the final touches on Toadette's hair and on the eyes of both characters. This design is a bit trickier, since the parts are smaller and more delicate to shape.

Ya por último, realizamos los retoques finales en el cabello de Toadette y en los ojos de ambos personajes. Este diseño es un poco más complejo, pues son más pequeñas las partes a la hora de moldear.

It’s worth noting that this design was looked up on Pinterest, but the creation of the figures is done by me, with dedication so they look even nicer in your home or bedroom.

Cabe destacar que este diseño fue buscado en Pinterest; pero la realización de los animados son hechos por mí, con dedicación para que luzcan mas bonitos en tu hogar o dormitorio.
