Joined On My Hive Reading

This morning, I was joined on my Hive reading by a huntsman spider.

I had no idea it was there until my daughter shrieked and shouted out loud "spider, spider!"

These are completely harmless but for arachnophobes, their size makes them appear like monsters. I had to work hard to convince my wife to take the picture 🙂

I tried picking it up with a small broom and a dustpan so that I could throw it outside, but damn was it fast. I ended up chasing it out of the house as best as I could.

I'm afraid we will see it again though because my understanding is that they always come back to the place where they nested. Let's see.
