⚜️ DOES SNOOPING AND SNIFFING DIFFERS TOO ??⚜️

Spoofing and Sniffing are types of cyber attacks.
♦️ Spoofing means to pretend to be someone else. ♦️
♦️ Sniffing means to illegally listen into another's conversation 👂♦️
Consider a LAN having Computers A, B and C. If A and B are talking and C is trying to listen to their conversation, then C is trying a Sniffing attack provided that, according to the LAN configuration, C is not supposed to listen to conversation between A and B.

Consider the same LAN, and A wants to talk to B but doesn’t know how because it doesn’t know B’s MAC address. A will get B’s IP from the DNS and send out an ARP broadcast to get B’s MAC from someone on the LAN. C responds that the MAC address of B is 00:00:00:00:00:01 when in reality, that MAC address is of C and not B. So, now A will end up sending data to C but in truth, that belongs to B. This is called a Spoofing attack‼️
