Action-packed Freediving at Iligan City!

Hi Hiveans!

One of my outdoor hobbies is freediving, and it was my first time doing it in my hometown in Iligan City. I joined my elementary classmate's group, Upok Iligan, as they did a freediving session.

This video has been initially posted on my Facebook page and I would like to share it to you as well in Hive.

In this video, we did line dives, and "awra" dives. In the first part, Upok Iligan has set a line for 20-meters deep for their practice session. They are hardcore for beginners like me! HAHA! Unfortunately, my ears were not cooperating at that time as it was not able to equalize properly. Because of that, I was not able to reach the 20 meters deep. However you can see some of the divers were able to reach the bottom which is amazing. On the later part of the video, me, my classmate and his friend went away from the line dive and we went to more shallow water to do "awra". "Awra" is a term that basically mean to pose. It is one of the fun times when freediving is to strike a pose, and capture a video or photo underwater. I think this is mostly the one that you would see on social media for freediving. So we didn't waste our time, and stroke an "awra" pose for the vlog, and for the gram. LOL!
