Opening Traps/Puzzles
Hello, today I will share five opening traps that may happen in your games.
1.e4 c6 2.Nc3 d5 3.Nf3 dxe4 4.Nxe4 Nf6 5.Qe2 Nbd7? White to move and win.
The next position occurs in a lot of games.
1.e4 d6 2.d4 g6 3.Bc4 Bg7 4.Nf3 Nd7 White to move and win.
1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Nf6 4.d4 Nxe4 5. d5 Bc5 White to move and win.
Another position with plenty of games in the database:
1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.c3 d6 4.d4 Nf6 5. Be2 Nxe4 White to move and win.
1.d4 d5 2.Nf3 Nf6 3.c4 c6 4.Nc3 e6 5. Bg5 Nbd7 6. cxd5 exd5 7. Qc2 Be7 8. e3 0-0 9. Bd3 Re8 10. 0-0 h6 11. Bf4 Nh5 White to move and win a pawn. The rest of the game is fun to watch if you play through it.
