Pen Portrait drawing

Hi there,how are you all doing,let me quickly journey you through this beautiful piece,one predominant thing about my work is line,right from the Genesis,its like a pillar or foundation that stands my sketch and I hope someone else can find his/her strength in it too

One of the problems I noticed in drawing is,lines are underestimated,our focus are on smooth shading and creating realism, Starting from the sketch,my lines are my measuring tool,once the sketch is correct,the resemble is 80, you should consciously create a sketch with the understanding that you are generating a form with lines and not subconsciously sketching with lines trying to create something.
my lines are also my shadings,evident in the fabric tied on her head and cloth worn,the reflection on the glasses, i created the face using brown pen then I later added orange to tone is a little and match the skin,like always,I use brilliant colours.
