NWM:Crocheting a pouch for my grandmother

Hello everyone
Hope everyone is doing great.I am back in this community after a long time i know.Actually my new semester just started and coming back to the hectic routine and getting used to university life takes time.Spending two months in my hometown,I am also feeling very homesick.I don’t want to crochet anything so i thought i should post the things that i made back in my hometown.
Today i am sharing with you guys the pouch that i made for my maternal grandmother when she visited us.She is really old now so it was a hard task to convince her to come to our house.She stayed in my home for a week and that was the best time ever.

Whenever she saw the big bags full of yarn she used to ask me what I crochet,show me some projects so I decided to crochet a pouch for her.She herself knew how to crochet so it was also a throwback to her.She told me the stories of how she used to crochet and knit sweaters and beanies for her kids.Writing this post and remembering all those days is overwhelming honestly.Anyways let’s talk about the pouch now
I really don’t remember anything realated to the pattern.If you guys wanna know the exact pattern,you can search it as how to crochet small pouch.Here are all the pictures that i clicked during the process and I will also try to write the steps if i coulf remember them from pictures.

I think it was sc,dc and hdc but honestly i made it almost a month ago so it is not my fault.

Then when i was making the top,my grandmother told me that i am making it small so i did two more rows and it turned out perfect.She really was a master in her days but now due to week eyesight and old age,she can’t even hold a hook properly and honestly it is very heartbreaking.Seeing your parents getting older is the worst feeling ever.It always give me a feeling that we have not done enough for them and time is passing so quickly.

This is how it turnes out.I attached a small button on the inner side of the bag.My grandmother loved it alot and put everything from her old bag into this new bag which was very cute.
