Two Cups and No Rush
There was a time when coffee meant speed. Drink fast, get going, do the day. Now, I sit with my cup. Sometimes I don’t even drink it all. I just hold it, let it warm my hands, and think about almost nothing.
Lately, I find myself making a second cup not because I need more energy—but because I want more quiet. It's not about the coffee. It's about giving myself something gentle to begin the day. Not everything has to be a jumpstart. Sometimes, it can just be a pause.
