Linux Smart Phone Set to Be Released This Year
When it comes to smartphones, people often go by two choices Android and iOS. I myself like and use Android meanwhile these devices (Android and iOS) are powered by Linux kernel, so we all use Linux in one way or the other.
An announcement was made last year by PinePhone's company about their upcoming Pine64 Linux OS Mobile Phone and recently the company announced that the device Pine64 is ready with prototypes and plans to ship development kit in Q1 2019 at an affordable price of $149.
The phone is amazing with the features it posses and the affordable price. It will strictly be running mainline Linux and will be powered by a SOPine module with an Allwinner A64 ARM Cortex-A53 quad-core processor.

Fingers Crossed as we await Pine64 this year. I will love to explore this phone when it's readily available.
