Old Buses Restored.

Old buses.jpg

In the UK is an area called the black country. so named because of the black smoke belching from hundreds of chimneys. Well, they were when I was a kid. almost all of the factories have closed now in favour of shops and clean industries.

One of the towns is Called Dudley and it has a museum called the black country museum. As well as steam engines, crafts, barges, motorbikes and cars I came across these old buses. I can't remember when I took these or anything about them but they are older than I am and I am ancient. I don't have information on them but they are interesting to look at.

I don't think that they are trolly buses (electric.) I suspected that they are steam powered but I can't see anywhere for the steam drum and firebox so perhaps they are electric or possibly early internal combustion engine. Perhaps someone with more knowledge could shed some light on that aspect.
