Litepaper updates

In this post we'll go through our updates in our Litepaper, this includes:

• alpha gameplay
• $zing distribution
• Roadmap V1

We will mark "--" what we removed from the Litepaper and "++" what we added instead.

Alpha (++ & Beta) Gameplay

-- You start off with purchasing a healer NFT, representing your character. Then you need to get yourself a starter pack that’ll give you the necessary items and your first creature for playing.

++ During Open Alpha you will be able to test the game with default healer and creature characters and all assets, progression and history obtained will be reset upon Open Beta release.

++ In Open Beta you will be able to capture NFT creatures, obtain NFT items and NFT soulbound achievements with your progression not being reset further. You will also require to purchase a healer and a starter pack to be able to play the game which at this time will mostly consist of PvE wild creature encounters, PvE AI battles and PvP battles.

$Zing Distribution

-- Full distribution plans for $ZING will be announced soon.What we can say is that to start, we will reward HP delegation and POSH holders with staked $ZING. Those pending rewards will be claimable once every hour. The amount going to POSH holders will be limited based on how much POSH assisted on kickstarting the funding of this project.

++ Holozing launched its token distribution to Hive Power delegators, POSH holders, Zing stakers and Liquidity providers on the 21st October 2023 with LP rewards being one week delayed. @holozing/token-distribution-details

Closed Alpha - Q4 2023

• Character/Healer artwork and generation - (++ Partially Done)
• Genesis Starter Pack sales - (++ delayed until January 2024)
• Healer character sales - (++ delayed until February 2024)
• Creature and Healer Balancing - (++ delayed for closed alpha, January 2024)

Open Alpha - Q1 2024

• -- Item Balancing (++ Item, creature and healer balancing)
• Play Testing (++ and checking for bugs)
• -- Profession (Balancing PvE AI battles and creature capture difficulty and rarities)

Ending note:

Surprisingly not many big delays compared to our vision in early October when we finalized the Litepaper. Starter sale is slightly delayed due to artist delays which has kept us back a little with some other developments and capital. Healer sale was always meant to come after the starter sale and we hope to finalize it in Q1 as we aim to mint and bring the web3 community together from many different chains onto our website and the Hive ecosystem. Closed Alpha delays due to additions of unique and difficult game mechanics and rarity formulas in capture logic.
