INTRODUCING SURF THE WAVES INITIATIVE

Following the collaboration, we are glad to announce a new initiative, brought to you by Hive Student Connect and ecency. We love to name this collaborative effort, Surf The Waves initiative.

Ecency.com hosts short form posts called waves. Waves is quite similar to twitter threads. Both work in a very similar way. If you love making threads in twitter, you would definitely love this initiative.

Just like the name implies, this initiative will hold exclusively in ecency waves. If you don't know what waves are, or you have not used waves before, i suggest you check out the post by @katerinaramm. Its very educative.

This initiative will run every week, starting from Saturday (at the end of our weekly prompt) and ending on Wednesday of the next week.

Topic release will be done every Saturday. Users are encouraged to make an entry for each topic.

After all entries are submitted, we will get 6 authors and place their names in wheelofnames.com. Three random authors to be selected by the website will win the prize.

• One author per entry
• write as many waves as you want on the topic, but let them be a reply under the original wave.
• Entries will be placed in wheelofnames.com and 3 random winners will be selected by the spinner.
• Write a comment on the contest post saying you participated in writing Waves this week.
• No plagiarism or use of AI
• Use the tag, #hivestudents
• Invite 3 users to join the the fun
• Have fun

There will be 200 ecency points and 1 hive to be distributed between three winners.

Valid entries stand a chance to be curated by hivestudents team and ecency team.
