Hive PH Donation Drive Update

Greetings everyone!

This is an update for the Hive PH donation drive intended to extend help to our fellowmen in the Visayas region who were hit by Super Typhoon Rai. The funds collected from @tpkidkai's post as well as @adamada's post together with the tips amounted to a total of 358.267 HIVE and 115.339 HBD.

Post Payout

After conversion of HBD donations to Hive, we collected a total of 435.267 Hive.

@romeskie was tasked to do the conversion from HIVE to PHP.

At the time of conversion, the Peso equivalent was at Php 33,227.32. We rounded it up to Php 35,000 and sent it to @indayclara's GCash account.

@indayclara will facilitate the transfer of the funds to our fellow Hiveans who were severely affected by Super Typhoon Rai. During our first monthly town hall meeting, it was agreed that 50% of the donations will go to other families affected by the typhoon that is still in evacuation sites.

We would like to thank everyone who donated and helped make this donation drive possible. As discussed during our town hall meeting, the Hive PH staff will make efforts to build up funds for charity so that in case such incidents happen again, we will be able to extend help at the soonest possible time.
