Just had to drill a few holes in my wall in light of the recent rains. Not sure why the previous owners hadn't done so before. The latest storms nearly flooded my home as the backyard was fully enclosed with no escape valves for the accruing water.
Perhaps its weather change, but I've never seen the water collect as high as it did these past storms. The water level was already halfway up the height of the concrete slab so it was only a matter of time before it would've led to flooding. Thankfully, I had the right tools to get the job done. It's probably pretty dangerous to be using electric tools in the midst of a storm, but when you need to get job done in a jiffy, you need to get it done.
