Memories Of Outreach On Sensitization Against Child Abuse Among Young Children

For today I will be sharing with you the memory of our women's outing to our Church primary school for a sensitization.

The topic we considered during the sensitization was Child Abuse. These days Child Abuse is becoming so rampant in the society today and it is a thing of concern to we mothers that was why we decided to step out to let our children know the forms of abuse and how they can stay safe out there.

Some of the forms of abuse we considered was Physical Abuse, Mental Abuse, Sexual Abuse and more. Some parents go as far as using derogatory words on their kids without apologies and some kids who are in those kind of environment end up being down in moral and it goes as far as affecting their productivity.

Another form of abuse that we looked at is Sexual Abuse, children these days are victims of sexual abuse some in their homes, by their parents and some of them by elderly ones on the society which is so bad. Those kids grows up to start acting in that form because they feel as if that that is a normal way of life

Sexuality is highly abused in our world today and it is a thing of concern to me on a daily basis.

After our section with the pupil's some of them met us to open up that they are being abused, two girls are facing challenge of abuse by a boy on the school . We were able to handle the matter with wisdom and also informed the school authority so they could put an eye on them.

The outting was a very fruitful one and we hope to continue with it so the society will regain it's sanity.
