MY FEAR CAME UPON ME

Good day everyone it is a new week, won't wish you a beautiful week of great achievement ahead. Yeah, it is another time of the contest, I do welcome you to my blog as we ride on this together.

My greatest fear was the fear of marrying someone that is not of the same tribe as me, yes!! That is more than fear for me. My people so much dislike marrying outside our tribe so when you come with this story of that they so much speak against it. So when I got admission to study aside my region my cousins started giving a strict warning that I should not bring a man from the North for them, one of them blatantly told me that she will shoot any man from the note I bring to the house. I asked if she has a gun, and she said till then.....hahahahaha.

Finally, when it was time to get married, their fear, my fear came to play. It was not so easy to handle this kind of issue, you need God's wisdom to roll in it especially when it is coming from people close to you.

Well, what I did was to buy my people into the situation. I prayed and made sure I was convinced about what I was going into, then I told my brother and my mother. I made sure my husband and my mother are on good terms, in fact, they even speak more, I also made sure he flow with my siblings and they became friends. So my immediate family was taken care of first before the extended family.

During the wedding preparation my people were well involved in all, so no place for others to say unnecessary things because the time was not created at all.

Now we live together, I know so many are listening to her badly, but no one has and they will not.
