Extra Time With Much Value

Time is money, as they always say, and it ought not to be wasted, and the wisest man that ever lived outlined in his book that "there is time for everything." Time management is a skill that not everyone possesses. Anyone who lacks the adequate skill of managing his time will always be late to things, or, worst of all, he will always be left with unaccomplished tasks. In the sight of people who deal with him, such an individual will be seen as an unserious person.

Mastering this skill is not easy at all because there are always things that will want to creep in as a distraction. It takes the brave to overcome instances when distractions creep in.Someone who doesn't know how to manage his time well, even if five persons' time is added to his, will still end up not meeting with things, and he will be left with wishful thoughts. Over time I have prayed to have more time to myself because I just wake up and then feel as if the clock has been pulled forward, and before you can say "Jack," it is night. Greetings to this community of Hive Ghana and all my friends from different parts of the world.

The topics for this week's engagement are nice, so I will be writing on the last topic, which is my wish to have 29 hours instead of the usual 24 hours.I will use my extra time to have a good rest. Let me add that within this time I will have someone who will take care of my kids. I didn't say this to mean that the kids are distracting, but in no small way I don't get to rest enough because when they are asleep, I will need to take care of the house chores and prepare what they will eat when they wake up. Some weeks back I was seriously down because I was not getting enough rest as it should, just coming from the sleepless nights induced by pregnancy to nursing a baby and seeing the big ones too who need my attention too.

It was so much for me, and my system was just trying to fight back.No matter how strong a man or woman tends to be, rest is a vital thing. One of the days I was talking to a brother as I encouraged him to always find some time to rest, and he was not so much on my side for that. Well, when someone fails to rest on his own, he will be given bed rest, and when he refuses the bed rest, he will just be led to rest.
