Hello hive dear family;
I compiled the videos I shot at a festival I attented.
There is a tradition is 'Pıngıdık'.
It was also known as the 'inidition ritual'.
This is the information I got from a few people I met in the village.
This tradition is also a ceremony of welcoming spring for the villagers.

A big fire is lit in the village square.
One of the young people of the village is chosen and dressed in a special outfit.

Throughout the night, the people of the village and outside guests are hosted, accompanied by music and dances.
This festival is normally held in March with the arrival of spring.
But since most of the villagers live outside, it is held in February, when there is a break in recent years.
I joined in February too. I wanted to share with the arrival of spring and inform you of this tradition.
If you live in Antalya, you can be a guest of this festival by following the announcements of the municipality of Finike in February.
As a large group, we arrived here after a 2-hour jorney from Antalya to Finike and then to Gökbük village.
Maybe I will share the beauties and details of the village in another article.
