MATHIAS IS LEFT WITHOUT A TEACHER AGAIN [ESP-ENG]

Hola amigos, saludos y bendiciones, espero y deseo todos estén muy bien por acá.

En esta oportunidad les vengo a relatar algo que me tiene preocupada, mi Hijo Mathias se quedó sin maestra otra vez.

Cómo saben después de una inclusión nada efectiva en la escuela regular, Mathias ingresó a un Instituto de Educación Especial, dónde para sorpresa mía su adaptación al horario completo, es decir, de 7:00 de la mañana, hasta las 12:00 del mediodía, se dió en 2 semanas, por supuesto eso era indicativo que el trabajo de la maestra y sus diversas estrategias eran buenas, ya que en tan poco tiempo se adapto a su horario.

El año escolar comenzó en septiembre, todo iba bien y eso se lo agradecí en reiteradas ocasiones, sin embargo en diciembre me dieron la noticia que, ya la maestra de Mathias no iba a estar más con él, aunque no solo con él, no iba a estar más ni con el grupo, ni en la institución, esto automáticamente me llevó a pensar que debíamos comenzar de cero y no me equivoqué.

Cuando me llamaron a una reunión para informar lo que había pasado, quedé sorprendida, según la directora de la escuela, la profesora Que tenía Mathias había maltratado a un niño, por ende, debían hacer el procedimiento respectivo, no coloco en duda lo que me decía la directora, sin embargo estando en el mismo gremio nos conocemos y en lo particular nunca he escuchado hablar mal de esa profesora.

Al saber todo con respecto a la situación ocurrida, lo único que pedí, dando fiel cumplimiento a los derechos de mi hijo, es que se hiciera una reunión con la profesora saliente y con la profesora entrante, así ella le podía explicar las estrategias que utilizo para la adaptación de mi hijo, lo cual me lo negaron, ya que aún no sabían cómo iban a hacer con ese salón debido a que no había profesora para el mismo, lo solucionaron con "En Enero vemos que hacemos".

Llegó enero, los niños entraron a clases y me informaron que ya iban a colocar la nueva profesora, obviamente como todo niño con la condición de Autismo, su inflexibilidad cognitiva por más que lo anticipé, no permite el cambio drástico de su entorno, así que aún no se adapta a la nueva maestra.

Mathias después de estar adaptado ahora No quiere hacer la rutina completa, rechaza ciertas actividades, no canta el himno nacional, entre otras cosas...

De verdad no ha sido fácil, como mamá quiero mantener el respeto y la confianza hacia la maestra, pero como especialista he exigido varias cosas que sé, que ellos como docentes deben hacer.

Espero todo se solucione y Mathias se adapte de nuevo a su rutina escolar para lograr mayores avances.

This time, I want to tell you about something that has me worried. My son Mathias has been left without a teacher again.

As you know, after an ineffective inclusion in a regular school, Mathias entered a Special Education Institute, where, to my surprise, he adapted to the full schedule, that is, from 7:00 in the morning until 12:00 noon, took place in two weeks. Of course, this was indicative that the teacher's work and her various strategies were good, since he adapted to his schedule in such a short time.

The school year began in September, and everything was going well, for which I thanked her repeatedly. However, in December, I was given the news that Mathias' teacher would no longer be with him, or with the group, or at the institution. This automatically led me to think that we would have to start from scratch, and I was not mistaken.

When I was called to a meeting to be informed of what had happened, I was surprised. According to the school principal, Mathias's teacher had mistreated a child, and therefore they had to follow the appropriate procedure. I did not question what the principal told me, but since we are in the same profession, we know each other, and I have never heard anyone speak ill of that teacher.

Once I knew everything about the situation, the only thing I asked for, in accordance with my son's rights, was a meeting with the outgoing teacher and the incoming teacher so she could explain the strategies she used to help my son adapt. They refused, as they still did not know what they were going to do with that classroom because there was no teacher for it. They solved it with “We'll see what we do in January.”

January arrived, the children started classes, and I was informed that they were going to assign a new teacher. Obviously, like all children with autism, his cognitive inflexibility, even though I anticipated it, does not allow for drastic changes in his environment, so he still has not adapted to the new teacher.

Mathias, after having adapted, now does not want to do the full routine, refuses certain activities, does not sing the national anthem, among other things....

It really has not been easy. As a mother, I want to maintain respect and trust toward the teacher, but as a specialist, I have demanded several things that I know they, as teachers, must do.

I hope everything works out and Mathias adapts to his school routine again so he can make more progress.
