I cried out in my distress and you heard my cry
It was a hard road
I could barely understand what was happening to me
It was a distressing time in all aspects
Nothing was working and my whole World stood still

Like a mother who can not stand the cry of her child
You oh Lord has heard my cry
You have come to rescue me from my distress
My mighty deliverer and strong hold
I cried out in my distress and you heard my cry
Your mighty hand has delivered me
Your grace and mercies have found me again
Like a lost sheep, you have found me again
You have taken me by my hand and led me home
