Hades - Remembering My Favourite Cat

Greetings Hive Friends!

It has been almost two years now since this beautiful boy has disappeared. In so many ways, this little weirdo was my best friend. It is the kind of loss you never really get over.

Hades, unlike the other cats here, rescued himself. The house he came from was not a good place, which I found out later. Either way, before knowing, I attempted to return him...he absolutely refused and soon, he was my little grey shadow.

A master of choosing the most awkward place to sit.

He also loved giving 'gifts' and once brought in a large blue headed agama - still alive. It was rather shocking to have that dropped onto my bare feet.

Ever the odd one, he also had a strange habit of attempting to 'talk' even going so far as to make an awful person once comment that my cat was swearing at them. Let's just say, he was very good at getting across exactly what he wanted to tell you.

Now do not let his sweet face fool you, he was and will always be a bit of a menace...but he was my menace and liked to cuddle and hug so I really did not mind.

I truly believe that he is still out there somewhere and has just been stolen. Maybe I will get to see him again someday. Till then, I seriously miss my best buddy.
