Another anime/goth inspired dress. I changed the colours from the original and much prefer the new version.

Layered wide skirt dress with lacing details.

Simple pencil sketch, only minor adjustments made to neckline of dress, skirt made slightly longer

Cleaned up ink drawing

Side by side comparison before starting on the colouring process, replaced the yellow with black as it made more sense to me, the original colours made it feel too much like pajamas.

I always like to do flat colours in acrylic marker, then add shading on top, using fineliner marker dual tip pens.

Old and new design side by side for comparison. I am very happy with how the new drawing looks. Much better, I would say.

The final sketch. I still have a lot to learn but I think it looks pretty okay.
