They'd Burn Her, Over and Over Again

She became the unwitting theorist in their shitshow.

Her theory, meticulously forged, not forced, will shatter their entire world of deceit - a world they built with utter selfishness and their undeniable cruelty.

It isn't just a casual insight.

After more than a decade of back-breaking suffering, observation and countless notable incidents involving this den of insidious abuser, deceptive and vile - it can definitely be stated that what they had tried to pass off as 'coincidence' is, in fact, a pattern. Undeniable.

Yes, a single coincidence is surely passable if it's a one-time occurrence, or if an observer doesn't stick around long enough to witness the continuous anomalies - being so gaslighted that they were blinded.

Even if caught red-handed, their defense would continue to push the 'insane' label onto her to invalidate her claims making her a freak.

But just like any criminal or murderer that insisted on 'unintentional' acts, even when proven guilty, to cover up and deny their true motives and escape punishment, the truth remains: they did the heinous thing they did.

How could one still deny it when they possessed prior knowledge of things before they commit those acts? That surely points to intent.

And that, unequivocally, is the case here.

It is a theory that, though currently dismissed as hypothetical by the defendants, holds the key to expose their profound wrongdoing.

This pivotal element is part of a story I've been trying to write for some time.

One could say it's more than a decade in the making. There were fragments of sentences scattered, disparate pieces, but somehow, I couldn't find the right 'thread' to weave them together.

The concepts of 'theory' and 'hypothetical' had been swirling in my mind, despite all that's still unravelling outside of me, yet they never quite coalesced.

It wasn't until I stumbled upon a writing prompt centered on the word 'theorist' that this narrative could finally begin to take shape.

It was truly an 'aha!' moment for me.

Thank you for providing the catalyst that finally brought this chapter together.

Please, however, do not ask me to reveal the protagonist in this story. 'Her' narrative is a delicate process, still with a long way to go before it can be told properly, and in case they'd burn 'her' again.
