Sharing A Hidden Talent: GIFing

The Art of GIFing

Awhile ago, in a comment thread somewhere, I mentioned that my husband will sometimes have entire conversations composed of GIFs. He's been training me in the art of this. Recently he said my GIFing skills are almost on par with his ... which is high praise considering he's been doing this since before GIFs were built into Messenger! LOL

In case you were curious what a GIF conversation looks like, here's a recent one we just had. I replaced some of the screenshots with the actual GIFs, so you could get a "feel" for what the conversation was really like.

I should preface this by saying that I do not like geckos in the house. But I have no idea how to get rid of them. And with Matt gone, they're definitely the last thing I want to have around.

Me: Guess what just scampered out of the shower drain?

Me:

Matt:

Me: What I want to be like...

What I am like...

Believe it or not, the GIF conversation actually kept going! But you get the idea ... And hopefully, you got a few chuckles out of it too ;)

The moral of the story...

GIFing can be a great stress-reliever! Here I was, in a very uncomfortable situation, and a simple GIF conversation with Matt just melted all the worry away. Don't believe me? You should try it!

This post's formatting was made so much easier thanks to the Hasty Markup tool by odrau@odrau. It's still under development, but he's recently come up with a new tool to help you share all your recent post and related posts, which you should definitely check out!
