Już za moment otwarcie nowej wystawy Piotra Bernatowicza, tym razem nie w CSW Zamek Ujazdowski, ale w całkiem nowej galerii S7. Stepehen Kenny, Sergei Besov „Orwell meets Orwell”.

„(…) Ręcznie drukowane cyrylicą plakaty Besova, rozklejane na ulicach Moskwy (https://www.france24.com/en/live-news/20220608-against-type-russian-print-artist-makes-posters-for-peace) po ataku na Ukrainę w marcu 2022 roku spowodowały wtargnięcie putinowskich służb, współczesnej rosyjskiej Policji Myśli, do studia i ostatecznie jego zamknięcie. Artysta musiał opuścić swoje miasto i kraj.

Kenny, który nadal może prowadzić w Londynie swoje studio, jednocześnie otaczany jest coraz ściślejszym kordonem sanitarnym i doświadcza zjawiska, które określane jest jako cancel culture. Powód to brak akceptacji artysty dla ideologii gender, współczesnego łysenkizmu, która podważa podstawowe prawa natury, jak to, że istnieją tylko dwie płcie. (…)”

The artist had to leave his city and country.

Kenny, who can still run his studio in London, is increasingly surrounded by a strict sanitary cordon and experiences the phenomenon known as cancel culture. The reason is the artist's lack of acceptance for gender ideology, contemporary Lysenkoism, which challenges basic laws of nature, such as the fact that there are only two genders. (...)"
